Christian Bilingual School is an Italian, Christian school where English is studied intensively with native-speaker teachers.
Innovazione didattica e valori senza tempo.
Innovative teaching and timeless values.

Primary School, ages 6 to 10

High School, ages 14 to 18
How we teach
Study programmes are designed for small groups and for each pupil individually, with attention to differentiated teaching, according to the learning needs of each child.
In particular, we use the “Bortolato” method for mathematics and Italian, and the “Jolly Phonics” and “Jolly Grammar” methods for English. These methods are intuitive and work through connections. According to the most recent findings in education, they do not need limiting, rigid structures of thought, and they encourage flexible, creative minds that think in terms of projects.

Sabaoth’s High School
Sabaoth’s High School offers the human sciences high school course (Liceo delle scienze umane), economics and social sciences option, with English and Spanish.
At the end of the five years, students also receive the diploma of the Sabaoth Bible Academy.
Each year, students sit the idoneità exam to move on to the next year (see below).
The school year under Italian law
In Italy, parents may choose to take charge of their children’s education themselves (istruzione parentale, usually called home education), including by entrusting it to educators of their choice. At Christian Bilingual School this means studying in a group, at school, with its teachers.
Two things follow from the law. Every year, the parents send a notice to the head teacher of the school in their area of residence. And every year, the pupil sits an exam of suitability (esame di idoneità) to move up to the next class, as an external candidate.
This is the wording of the law (our translation):
“In the case of home education, the parents of the pupil or student, or those who exercise parental responsibility, must submit each year the prior notice to the head teacher of the school in their area of residence. These pupils or students sit each year the suitability exam to move up to the next class as external candidates at a state or paritaria school, until compulsory education has been completed.”
At the end of the school year, pupils and students sit the suitability exam for the following year at the school responsible for their area, or at another school chosen by the family.
A scuola paritaria is a private school that belongs to the Italian national education system. It is the school where the exam is taken, not a description of Christian Bilingual School.
This page describes the route as the school presents it. For any question about qualifications, please ask the school office.
